In Singapore, staycations are already part of the local culture, but they often come with an excuse: a birthday, a celebration, a long weekend, or simply the need to escape the routine. Marriott Bonvoy wanted to show that you don’t need to wait for a special occasion. With 19 hotels across Singapore, there is always another reason to check in.

The Neverending Staycation turned this insight into a comedy mini-series starring Annette Lee. She plays three distinctly Singaporean characters: a part-time influencer, a busy mum and a retired aunty, who keep running into one another on different staycations, each time trying to explain why they are back again.

Each character brings a different reason to stay:

self-care, family time, friends, romance, celebrations,

or simply the desire to treat yourself. Instead of presenting 19 hotels as a list of options, we turned Marriott Bonvoy’s portfolio into365 reasons to escape without ever leaving Singapore, creating a campaign that, just like a great staycation, could go on forever.

The illustrated key visuals were designed like classic movie posters,

giving The Neverending Staycation a cinematic identity beyond the films.

Retro typography, warm sunset tones and character-led compositions helped

turn every stay into part of a bigger, ongoing story.

Across three episodes, Tiffany, Mei Lin and Sharon keep crossing paths on different staycations, each time with another reason to check in.

What starts as a coincidence quickly becomes a running joke, bringing the campaign idea to life: there’s always another reason for a staycation.
